Sponsorship Notice

My Name is Andy Suter and im the team manager for North Shields Juniors U10 Kestrels

We are part of a 46 team youth football club in North shields with our home ground and facilities based at John Spence High School

We have currently come to the end of our U10 season and will be holding trials in early June to add to our current squad, taking us forward to U11 and bigger 9v9 games in September.

As part of the move to 9v9 our squad size increases from 10 to 12 and comes at a time when our team strips are now approaching 3yrs old and due for replacement.

Without wanting to offer a long and boring sales pitch, we are looking for a new shirt sponsor for our team. I personally sponsored the team 3 years ago and have benefited from my company logo on the team shirts during this time. I’ll be honest and say im not sure I actually gained any direct business from it, but watching the lads turn up and play in brand new North Shields Team colours with my company logo displayed on the front was worth more than any business it generated. I paid £250 direct to the club to enable the shirts to be purchased and printed. The cost has risen since and with the increased squad size we need a donation of £300.

The kestrels are our community level team and one of 4 in our age group based on a community/development/elite structure. We offer an opportunity for 12 local kids from our community a place to come and play football for their local team without any pressures of winning leagues or cups, but just have fun, learn the game and fall in love with playing football at a true grass roots level. That’s the intention but quite a few of the kids take it very seriously!!. We also provide the kids across the whole club with social events and last week took 80 of them to the England training centre at St Georges Park, where they took part in a training session run by England coaches.

We train during the week and play matches home and away on Sunday mornings which is well supported by parents from both teams. We don’t compete with the premiership academy feeder clubs but then again we don’t demand the sponsorship costs that those clubs ask. However, We do have teams that do compete at that level and I can put you in touch with our respective managers to see if a sponsorship opportunity is available if that is something you are interested in.

As we offer 100% exclusivity to our sponsor we only have one sponsor opportunity available on the shirts and im hoping this will be taken up very quickly.
