Job Notice

Sporting Khalsa FC based in Willenhall, Wolverhampton, West Midlands are seeking a Graduate Sports Therapist/Physiotherapist or 3rd Year Student to support their Ladies First Team. The ladies play in the FA Women's Premier League and the candidate will need to be available on Tuesday Evenings for treatment on training nights and on Sunday's, which are match days.

The candidate should be reliable, committed and have good communication skills.

Typical duties;

Helping to prepare players both mentally and physically
Able to advise on stretching and warming up exercises
Able to provide sports massage and administer strappings
Provide first aid if required Monitor injuries and strappings
Examining and assessing injuries
Designing and implementing rehabilitation programmes
Work with managers/coaches on injury prevention programmes

The position is voluntary, however we will look to support the candidate by enabling them to pick up valuable experience at the club, provide supplies and if the person is at the club long term will look to try and support them with supplementary courses/training.
