Glasgow Olympians Basketball Club

We started working on the idea of putting together a basketball club few months ago. Our main drive was to offer basketball players of all cultures in the Glasgow area coaching and competitive opportunities.

Our goal is to provide and help develop accessible, affordable and inclusive basketball development opportunities for basketball players to promote healthy living, a respect for the rules of sporting competition and social inclusion for all people and their families.

We have launched this project with a senior men's basketball team; a team we hope will be successful and will give us the experience to follow up with a women’s team next year. We have registered the team in the Scottish basketball association and we will be participating in division 4 starting October 2018.
