Felton Eccles Tug of War Club

Felton Eccles Tug of War club is located just a few miles south of Bristol, around the village of Felton, North Somerset, near Bristol Airport. The club formed in 1947 and is one of the most successful Tug of War Clubs in the UK.
The club has won many honours on the world stage and held the 640kg (mid weight) National Champions for twelve consecutive years, a record, which many believe, will not be broken.
Although Tug of War (ToW) is not an Olympic sport, Felton Eccles has represented Great Britain (GB) in four world games. Our members have represented Felton Eccles and England on nearly every continent.

From Friday 29th April until Sunday 1st May 2022 it is our 75th year and we are holding an International Tug of War Competition. We have invited teams from Holland, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Scotland and Wales to compete at a 2 day event.
