Thurrock T-Birds Women's rugby team
The T Birds were originally founded in 1996 & have been in the top 10 clubs in the country for 5 consecutive years, and are now passionately challenging for a premiership place in the new Tyrells Premiership when the league is open again for tender in the 2019/20 season. The T Birds are strong both on and off the pitch, with one of best support networks in the country and a hugely infectious team spirit. Thurrock RFC has always had a strong presence in the women’s game, working extensively to get to this impressive stage.
The T Birds are now looking to increase their support network to continue providing women in South East England with excellent coaching, guidance and facilities. Become part of the extended T Bird family by supporting our club and being instrumental in our success.
We are looking for a range of sponsors to share in our growth and provide the boost that will lead us to a premiership position. To run the squad and compete with premiership clubs, who currently receive £85,000 per team per season from the RFU, we are looking to raise funding of £30,000 - £70,000 per year. Raising sponsorship to this level and provide the best opportunities we can for women and girls in the South East is a huge undertaking, but with your help, the team will thrive.
