Sturton Judo Club
We are a non profit community judo club based in the village of Sturton by Stow, Lincoln. The club has been established for 34 years and welcomes members of all ages from the very young to more mature adults.
SJC is run entirely by volunteers giving their time freely and generously and all funds are directed back into the club to ensure the members receive a first class training experience. The fees are kept really low to ensure this valuable community asset is affordable for everyone.
During the past year there have been many successes including medals from National competitions and Head Coach, Matt, winning the BJC National Junior Head Coach of the Year Award 2025.
The club urgently needs to purchase new training mats. The mats are 15+ years old and at the end of their life span. The cost quoted to replace them is over £9500, a substantial figure for a small community club. We are working hard to raise the funds but we are looking for donations and / or a sponsor.
In return for a sponsor we would add the logo to our social media pages - the TikTok app has some hugely popular videos with views between 10,000k - 129.1k. We would also wear the logo on sliders, t-shirts and hoodies at competitions, events and training sessions
